Network Tuning for Netscape

Folks,

I found a document which suggests some network tuning for Iplanet 4.0 server running on HP-UX. I think that I can apply those suggestions to my Netscape Fast Track Server running on HP-UX to improve our web server performance. Do you agree? Why or Why not?

I guess it would depend upon what OS you are using. Remember that the number of connections (sockets) is directly related to maxfiles, maxfiles_lim, and nfiles. If this server is to be on the internet, then I suggest you read these:
