Hi All,
I want to know what is the configuration file where my current lan speed for an lan interface is defined ??

It depends on the type of NIC you have. For startup, the files will be in /etc/rc.config.d. Typical ones are hpbtlanconf, hpetherconf, hpgelanconf, hpietherconf, and hpigelanconf. Do "ioscan -fnkC lan" and look at the Driver column to see which file you need to look at for your specific situation.

Also, to see what speed the NIC is currently set to, use "lanadmin -x CIN", where CIN is the Card Instance Number displayed in lanscan.

Hi Amitav

Use /usr/sbin/lanscan -q command to display the PPA

Then issue /usr/sbin/lanadmin -x PPA number to display the lan card speed

for example

$/usr/sbin/lanscan -q
0
1
2

$ /usr/sbin/lanadmin -x 1
Speed = 1000 Full-Duplex.
Autonegotiation = On.

$/usr/sbin/lanadmin -x 2
Speed = 1000 Full-Duplex.
Autonegotiation = On.
