New application is implementing on HP-UX

Hi,

We are implementing new appplication on HP-UX. Hardware is HP superdome 9000 Series. Database is Oracle 10g RAC. Can any suggest that what inputs from ORACLE DBA and Application Developer to implement the application

Shalom,

Before you even talk to your DBA, get an id (e.g. support from oracle). Enter the http://metalink.oracle.com site and get a list of OS patches for 11.11 or 11.23, whichever you intend to use. Though 11.31 is available, oracle support for this platform is as of now incomplete by my analysis.

You will find on metalink minimum kernel parameters and other very useful tips.
