New DTC Setup
We have several DTC16TN's and a DTC72.
I'm not even starting on the 72 yet.
We upgraded to 11.0 last year, and had severe installation issues. The DTCCONFIG was not loaded, but since the power stayed on, we kept the DTC's running for over a year without having a major power outtage....guess what...
Yep, lost the configs.
I went through all the steps, installed and started all the daemons for the DTC's.
I have a DTC up and 1 terminal to test. For some reason, I keep getting gobbly-goop.
The Terminal settings haven't changed, but I wonder if the DTC software or maybe the ttytype has.
We have WYSE60 terminals set to tvi925. I checked the /usr/share/lib/terminfo and under t, there is the tvi925.
For some reason, when loggin in as root, ttytype or the TERM value is defaulting to unknown. The termminal would be /dev/telnet/dtc4p8.
I checked what I can think of without going overboard.
Also, maybe related, but when anyone telnet's to the server using vt100 emulation, the TERM defaults to "ansi". Related?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
