Finally, the version you were all waiting for (or not)

perl-5.8.7 is out
Unicode 4, more bug fixes, some speedups, and no new features, it's all described here:

10.20, 11.00/32, and 11.00/64 are already uploaded, 11iv1/32 is ready, but 11iv1/64 still has some major issues that need to be cleared

perl-5.8.7 for 11.11 now also available

note that these are built with gcc-3.4.4, since gcc-4.0.0 caused very nasty errors in the 64bit builds

this means that gcc-3.4.4 is now also available on my site for 11.11 :)

PLEASE wait till tomorrow to use the fast mirror for downloads. It has to sync first.

GNU released gcc-4.0.1 last friday, and it is available as of now from my site.
Software depot's only.

All include GNU binutils 2.16.1.
Both 11.00 and 11.11 depots have gdb-6.3 (yes, I managed to build it), and 10.20 still has gdb-6.2.1

I use this release to build bleading edge perl (the development brange), and found no problems in the 32bit build, but serious bumps in the 64bit threaded case, so I'll stick to 3.4.4 on 11.11 myself for a bit longer

Looks like I forgot to announce gcc-4.0.2 availability on 30 Sep this year :)

Anyway, Just uploaded gcc-3.4.5 for HP-UX 11.11 as depot, containing both 32bit and 64bit build, and binutils-2.16.1 and gdb-6.3

Give the mirrors a day to sync and then ...

A small heads-up:

Itanium2 is now in my build park, and has joined the club, so 11.23 builds are added as they finish

On 06 Dec 2006 I uploaded gcc-3.4.5 for HP-UX 11.11

On 01 Feb 2006, I uploaded 4 software depots for perl-5.8.8 (10.20, 11.00, 11.11, and 11.23). All but 10.20 have both 32bit and 64bit builds.

On 01 Feb 2006, I also uploaded gcc-4.0.2 for HP-UX 11.23

On 01 Mar 2006, I uploaded gcc-4.1.0 for HP-UX 11.23, followed on 03 Mar 2006 by the build for HP-UX 10.20

Today, I have uploaded gcc-4.0.3 for HP-UX 11.00 and 11.11. Note that these contain a newer binutils (from the 20060311 snapshot) and are not built with GNU ld, but with HP's ld, as per gcc people's advice. Please allow the mirrors to sync.

The GNU gcc people have told me that 4.0.3 is probably the last release in the 4.0.x track.
I have no plans to build any more gcc-3.x releases.
