new to ignite

I have never used ignite before now I have to install it and back my servers up using.
Coud someone point me in the direction to get some good info on how it works, how to install and how to use it?

Hi Dottie:

First, download a current version that will be suitable for the OS version(s) you need:

http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html

You will use 'swinstall' to install the bundle you download. No reboot is required and man pages come along.

Volume group vg00 can be archived with 'make_tape_recovery' with the following simple command:

# make_tape_recovery -x inc_entire=vg00 -I -v -a /dev/rmt/0mn
