Q-1 Is it possible to create a file in a directory that is already shared through NFS server/client approach?

Re: NFS approach for file
Hi,
you can't nfs mount an individual file, it has to be a mount-point or directory.
Once the nfs system has been exported, and given the correct permissions, the client can create files.
Does this answer the question? If not, could you please give further details.

Re: NFS approach for file
Mohd, if you exported with the right permissions...then you should be able to create a file....
