NFS getattr error
getting the NFS error as follows
NFS fsstat failed for server dbciapla: RPC: (unknown error code)
NFS getattr failed for server dbciapla: RPC: (unknown error code)
NFS getattr failed for server dbciapla: RPC: (unknown error code)
NFS server is doing autoFS and all filesystems are mounting via TCP connections
The above error message are not stable it occurs some time ...

You can increase the timeout interval or see if it possible to do a hard mount, rather than and soft mount.

I see similar NFS errors in the patch database.
Do you have latest ONC/NFS patch applied for the HP-UX OS version?

we are using TCP connections for automount . i think some bad connection might have been occured . I am planning to use UDP instead TCP

A few questions:
1. What do you mean your server is using AutoFS? AutoFS is a client-side program. It has nothing to do with the NFS server.
2. What OS/patch level are the NFS clients and servers running?
3. When do these errors show up? All the time? Random times? Is it reproducible?
4. Do you see these errors on all clients, one client, a subset of clients?
