NFS mount ??

which combination of NFS mount option would most likely provide the best the chance of avoiding the client hangs ?

Give the one ans. from following options.??


1. retry + 2 , hard
2. retry = 6 hard, intr
3. retry = 3 soft, nointr
4. retry = 4 soft

What is the purpose of all your qeustions? Do you ask us to answer your exams? Thats not what this forum is made for.

The keys to answer all your questions:

-Get your hands on a workstation and work with it.
-Buy a good book about HP-UX
-search the forum befor you ask
-most important: RTFM
