NFS over TCP with HP-UX 10.20?

Hello!

Is it possible to use the NFS protocol over TCP instead of UDP with HP-UX 10.20?
My machine just supports UDP according to portmapper and I can't find any information on how to change this in the manpages.

I'm interested in both client and server support for NFS over TCP, btw.

Any information is appreciated!

Cheers,
Enno.

NFS over TCP is supported only on 11.0. It's not available on 10.20. Even on 11.0, you need to install patches to get the NFS running over TCP.

Re: NFS over TCP with HP-UX 10.20?

Hi,

AFAIK, NFS over TCP isn't supported on TCP for 10.20, however it is by default for 11i and for 11.0 there is a document in /usr/share/doc/RelNotesNFS_TCP.txt which describes what/how to enable NFS over TCP for 11.0
