NFS performance problems with more the 4 biod's
NFS performance problems when running more than 4 biod's on HPUX 11.00 with 12GB Ram and only one user on system. I'm trying understanding why running more then 4 biods will cause performance problems. On the HP11.00 system I'm running NFSv3_TCP. On the 10.20 systems I'm running NFSv2
When I try to copy a 100MB file to a HPUX 10.20 system it will take 7 minute. When I copy this file to a HPUX 11.00 system it will take 2 minutes. Now when I have biod's set to 4 or lower I get this 100mb file to copy in 30 to 40 seconds.
