NFS ports to open in Firewall
Hi all,
I need to setup a NFS server & NFS client through a firewall.
I Know I must open ports
portmap 111/tcp sunrpc # SUN Remote Procedure Call
portmap 111/udp sunrpc #
nfsd 2049/udp # NFS remote file system
nfsd 2049/tcp # NFS remote file system
.. and the ports for rpc.mountd. The problem is that these ports for rpc.mountd are not static, and are
different everytime it is restarted. I have tried to start it whit -p option, but it doesn??t work.
??Is there any way to start this daemon in the same port everytime?
Thanks and kind regards,
Rod
