Re: NFS Problem

Hi,
Try #/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start
and also check /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf file.
What changes done on the machine ?
Was it working earlier ?
What about /etc/auto.direct & /etc/auto_master files ?
check the log files for more details like /etc/rc.log ,/var/adm/automount.log, etc.

best of luck

Re: NFS Problem

Hi Raghu,

Does it fail only during startups or does it fail when run manually also in multi-user?

Are there any other errors in syslog.log?

Is the only client having problems automounting?

Do you have the ONC/NFS mega patch installed?
