NFS server and notifications for lock recovery
I have a system with 2 IPs. Both are listed in the /etc/hosts. I have modified "/etc/nsswitch.conf" to pick hosts file instead of DNS/NIS first. But when my NFS locking daemons restarts, I am unable to see lock recovery notifications for the second IP configured on the system. Locking daemons are only sending notification on behalf of first IP(which is on DNS too) and the clients using second IPs are unable to identify the lock reclaim notifications.
Please let me know if I am missing anything or it is bug with 11iv3 on PA-RISC.

Hi,
have you used different hostnames for the two IP adresses?

No, both the IPs are pointing to same hostname.

Re: NFS server and notifications for lock recovery
Hi Tarun,
Can you try assigning a different hostname to the different IP addresses and see if that allows the server to send both sents of lock notifications?
