NFS Server

My server is confgured to access a remote server through nfs. In the morning it lost connection with the remote server as reported by syslog.

How can I find it out if it is connected to that remote server or is still unable to access it?

Re: NFS Server

Check the output of the "mount" or "bdf" commands.

Re: NFS Server

To narrow down , try the following

bdf -t nfs

It will show only nfs mounted filesystems if there is any.
