nfs toolkit serviceguard 11.16
Dear all,
Please give me some advices on this nfs crossmount.
cluster with 2 nodes
node1--1 nfs package using nfs toolkit.
when pkg nfs started on node1, it would mount to itself and remsh to node2 and run crossmount script to mount to node1.
and here is the customer define run cmds, it is on both nodes with just different hostname.
function customer_defined_run_cmds
{
# ADD customer defined run commands.
: # do nothing instruction, because a function must contain some command.
/etc/cmcluster/IMAXSOFT/nfs_xmnt start
remsh sunuxap2 /etc/cmcluster/IMAXSOFT/nfs_xmnt start
test_return 51
}
# This function is a place holder for customer define functions.
# You should define all actions you want to happen here, before the service is
# halted.
function customer_defined_halt_cmds
{
# ADD customer defined halt commands.
: # do nothing instruction, because a function must contain some command.
/etc/cmcluster/IMAXSOFT/nfs_xmnt stop
remsh sunuxap2 /etc/cmcluster/IMAXSOFT/nfs_xmnt stop
test_return 52
}
question:
when nfs pkg starts on node1; node1 and node2 have nfs mount point. if i reboot node2, when node2 comes up, how to make node2 mount automatically to node1(nfs mount point).
Please give some thoughts as how it works.
Thanks in advance!
Tom

Re: nfs toolkit serviceguard 11.16
Shalom,
You might solve this problem by using the automouter.
NFS can be configured to mount remote NFS shares when the application attempts to access a particular path.
