NFS with AIX-4.2
Hoping newer patches might have solved this problem already, I installed PHKL_25237, PHKL_25813, PHKL_26059, PHNE_24909, PHNE_25116, and PHNE_25423. But these did not bring me back to the performance of before the December patches.
Useful ideas?

Re: NFS with AIX-4.2
Have you tried using the custom patch manager to determine what other patches might be suggested? Especially network and IO patches.

Re: NFS with AIX-4.2
22566 suggests 25116 which is a spinoff of 24099, 23121, and 22381
21767 suggests 25423 which is a spinoff of 25135, 24715, and 24289
24909 mentioning biod is mentioned in a lot of other patches, so it might be an important one :)
25525 mentions 25906 both not yet installed, so could be tried. But I don't /like/ reboots. I try to avoid annoying other users as much as possible, and the description didn't sound to much as a solution.
Others are 25237 (installed), 24082, and 18543 (both not installed).

Re: NFS with AIX-4.2
But why should MTU have changed installing the December patches? And why only AIX-4.2? HP-UX 10.20, HP-UX 11.00 and AIX-4.3 all act as expected.
Any area where NFS related MTU settings can be checked?
