nfsstat metrics useful?
I've been running nfsstat -m on my clients in effort to determine server performance. I've collected lots of data and have now analyzed it with a home grown perl script. The metric that I have keyed in on in srtt (smooth round trip time). We are a heavy nfs environment that works mostly 9am to 6pm with a few batch jobs. What I found didn't make sense. The averages for midnight where higher then the averages for 11am. My question is: Do you trust the number from nfsstat (on HPUX) and is this a good metric to look at?
Thanks!

Re: nfsstat metrics useful?
Are backups running at that time and on the same network? I say that the nfsstat command is pretty reliable.
