Re: NIC's
If the 100BaseT card is a "btlan0" Interphase-based card, the answer is "yes". On the D380 they were sold by the model number: A3658A and J2780BA. On the B180 they would be sold under Model numbers: A4308A and A4308B
I believe I have the parts info correct here:
Hardware part numbers:
Replacement part number: A4308-66001
Exchange part number : A4308-69001
Remember, only support up to HPUX 11.0. NO support after that. Hardware support ends in 2004. There were very low performance cards, 100HD only, no FD. You also need to load the drivers from the applications CD, usually the first of 4. I don't think you need a codeword for it.
To be blunt, there are PCI Cards for the B180 available with better performance. $340 new, probably 10% of that used. You might want to get one of those. Part # B5509B-66001.
Hope all that helps,

Re: NIC's
If you are running 11.0 and plan to install a second NIC (or alias a second IP address to one NIC)
Be sure to install the latest CDE runtime patch or you will not be able to log into CDE the next time you try.
(But that didn't happen to me or anything.) :P
