Nickel script , great stuff now what????
Fist I want to say this is a great place to come and get info ! And I have learned soo much here. Being a UNIX admin for less then a year this is where I have learned the most. It really pays off to come here and read.
Thanks everyone !
Now this nickel stuff is great.
I ran it on my test box and then I went to show my boss. He was impressed , he asked me where if i wrote it. Of course I didnt take credit but I told him that "An HPUX admin like me has many resources " and then we both laughed. He said that didnt matter what mattered was that I found it and implemented it. Now he wants to work with this and do other things. I am reading the files to see what can be done and what cant. Now I would like to know how you guys have used this tool? And any suggestions to use it.
Thanks
Richard

Re: Nickel script , great stuff now what????
I was thinking of putting it on other boxes.
writting a script that would FTP that .shar file to a host box. And writting a script on the host box to open the shar file and put in its own dir. Now I have appache runnin on this box. This is allot of info im sure that you dont have it open to the public. Is there a way to see the info on the pages though a box with only a private IP address?
