NIS+ credentail question

When going into NIS+ (via sam) on my client, I receive the message
"The host you are logged in does not have DES credentials in the NIS+
domain testsdm.com. Therefore, you may not have permission to read or modify the information
in the testsdm.com domain.
Ask the network administrator to add DES credentials for your host to the testsdm.com domain"

However, when I go to the master and try to add the credentials, I receive the message "nisaddcred: error creating credential, NIS+ error: Object with same name exists."

What am I doing wrong?

Re: NIS+ credentail question

Hi
first you already have an object with the same name. Remove it and redo the entire process of giving credentials.

Re: NIS+ credentail question

I am new to NIS+. How do I remove the object?

Thanks.
