nis group map

Can you setup a nis master to use a private group file - similar to /etc/passwd.yp

if so how?

I am sure this has been asked before, but I dont seem to be finding a lot of information regarding this.

The process is exactly the same. You modify /var/yp/Makefile and change all references to $(DIR)/group to another file.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Thanks,is there any special syntax in the /etc/rc.config.d/namesvrs file that I need to be aware of?
