NIS issue
NIS issue:
when i am change the password in NIS this error message is showing...
could not create client to yp master:RPC program not resistered...
what is the solution. reply me

Hi Subrata,
rpc.mountd is not running on the server. You probably just exported
the first filesystem from a machine that has never done NFS serving
before. Reboot the NFS server, if it is SunOS 4.X,. The
NFS server is running Solaris 2.X, run the following:
/etc/init.d/nfs.server start

"NIS" and "NFS" are spelled differently for a
reason.
A Web search for the error message might get
you better information.
