Hi everybody.
A NIS slave has died so I am setting up an alternative on the same subnet.
Everything seems to go smoothly till I type ypwhich, which gives me the following error message:
ypwhich: clntudp_create error: RPC_PROG_NOT_REGISTERED
Any help appreciated and rewarded with points.

Re: NIS Slave will not connect
Well that was simple!
The one good thing to come out of this is that my knowledge of NIS has more than doubled in the last two days.
