No Modem Pools for HP??
We are currently rolling out a new VPO solution with paging on L-class servers. We are unable to find a simple modem pool solution to connect our servers to the analog lines. We can implement a mux card with a bunch of external modems...(messy), but are unable to find a single box with internal modems to use as our modem pool. Equinox and Digi have both said theirs is not supported by HP and our HP rep was not able to come up with anything other than a mux card. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: No Modem Pools for HP??
Michael, I went down the same road and ended up using a mux. We only needed four modems, and I have a PBX with extra lines so it wasn't a big issue for us. I had no luck form HP or third parties for modem pools.
I also ended up setting up a DSL line for our users to telnet to the box.

Re: No Modem Pools for HP??
Richard,
Thanks for the reply. That is what I am wondering, but it just seems that there has to be some better solution out there. Being on a time restriction, if I am not able to configure something better soon, I am going to have to utilize the Mux soulution. Thanks. MC
