No one can log in
No one can log in via ssh, telnet, rlogin or even on the console. Everything was running perfectly fine until a few hours ago. No change has been made.
Any ideas?

Re: No one can log in
To what?
"Doesn't work" is not a useful problem
description. Actual commands? Actual error
messages?
Is the system (whatever it is) plugged in?

Re: No one can log in
Do you have physical access to it?
Can you see any error codes?
Can you ping?
If nothing helps .. the last option would be a switch off - short and dirty :-)
When booting up check for error messages.
Maybe disks are/were full or one disk has failed.

Re: No one can log in
The problem is found from the SAP level. Looks like someone with sudo access removed the passwd file. But interestingly, there is no entry for that in syslog.log. All this info we captured from SAP level.

Re: No one can log in
sudo or su?
I think it was su - consider to use sudo in future...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
