No response from ypxfer

No response from ypxfer

Hi Friends,

I have HP NIS Master server and many HP/Linux nis seconday server. When I make new map HP's secondary server has no problem getting new map but linux server complains
"No response from ypxfer"

When I try ypxfer on linux secondary server I will have error
#/usr/lib/yp/ypxfr -f -h master passwd.byname
"Trying ypxfrd ... not running
"

I have recreate all maps using ypinit -s.
Restart ypserv, ypbind
rpcinfo shows me that ypserv is on. ypxfrd is running on master server.

Just a guess: maybe your linux boxes expect a different version of ypxfrd.
Are there different versions of ypxfrd?
