Not able to boot from a bootable disk(external SAN disk)

Hi,

I've an HPUX 11.23 IA machine

root@hpia7/ >uname -a
HP-UX hpia7 B.11.23 U ia64 0785257145 unlimited-user license
root@hpia7/ >model
ia64 hp server rx2620

While trying to boot from the primary boot disk,i am getting following error message:

Is the disk you booted from a local disk mirrored to the SAN? Or where did you get the setboot info from?

Possible reasons:
- problem with lvlnboot settings
- FC efi drivers/firmware not up to date
- array is not supported for hp-ux boot

To let EFI search the SAN, see this thread
(the CD mentioned is the IPF Offline Diagnostics CD also containing the PDF documents about the how-to)
