Not able to change the root password

Hi,

I am not able to change the root password and my home filesystem corrupted.

I have created home filesystem but still i am getting following error.

Changing password for root
pam_chauthtok: System error

joshi,

I think your /etc/pam.conf got problem, please copy from other server good /etc/pam.conf should solve your issue
