Not able to install 11.11 through ignite
Hi All
I have an issue, like i am having one " C " class machine
" C110 ", and it's having 11.00. [ It's a ignite server ].
When i try to install 11.11 though that ignite CDE Components are not instaled properly in client machine [like /usr/dt/bin , /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc not available ].
CDE scree is also not comming. I don't know what should i do.
Here with i am attaching the swlist of the ignite server

Make sure you are using the June 2001 version of 11i, as it has many patches.

Hmmm.....It sounds like you may have problems other than Ignite when installing 11i. If the components you mention are not getting installed, you might first check your ignite archive and make sure that they are a part of the ignite backup that you are installing from. Not having all of the components will cause you problems in bringing up CDE.
Another thing that I would do is download the latest version of Ignite/UX.
http://software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html
The current version is B.3.4. Make sure you download the 'ALL HP-UX' version of Ignite for 11.X machines. I don't know that the version you are on is part of the problem, but it can't hurt to be on the latest version.
