Not Printing in Duplex mode from HP-UX 10.20
Hi,
We have a Laserjet 5M printer with 6MB RAM configured thru Jetdirect Interface
and it is connected to Unix
workstations running HP-UX 10.20.
Whenever we print a postscript file from UNIX the printer does not print in
DUPLEX. even though the
printer's control panel says DUPLEX=ON.
Any text file printed from Unix prints in Duplex mode.
When we took out a post-script configuration page from the printer, it said
'Duplex=off' for the postscript.
We are unable to change this option to "Duplex=ON".
TO Summarise:
Hardware : Laserjet 5M & HP 9000 workstations
Software : HP-UX 10.20 & Jetadmin
Problem : Postscript documents are not prtg in Duplex mode (Any
printout taken from Netscape/Frame
Maker/Acrobat reader etc.)
What we found so far: Duplex=off in the postscript configuration
Any help on this is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Sajith

Re: Not Printing in Duplex mode from HP-UX 10.20
It sounds like the problem is definitely on the printer configuration side, not
the HPUX side. Try asking in the Printing & Imaging forum :)
