Hi.
I'm sorry.
I'm shot english....

Question

1. Ftp access banner..220 XXX FTP server (Version 1.1.214.6 Wed Feb 9 08:03:34 GMT 2000) ready.
User (211.115..XXX.XXX:(none)):

i want to banner clear....

2. remote access root.

I think /etc/security
insert tty1 ~ tty8

not remote access root...

please help me....

Hi there.
To avoid remote access with root enter the terminal device in /etc/securetty, which is allowed to acces user root ( usually console ).
For rlogin etc you have to check the remote access with SAM ( --> Network & Communication
--> System Access ).
