Anjaneyulu,
ACPI stands for Advanced Configuration and Power Interface which is a series of settings based on the different operating systems they support.

default for HP-UX, single-pci-domain for linux,windows for windows.
Uses the acpiconfig command to set it from windows.And thhen reset from EFI.
