exist some reason while SAM can't create the devices files for the ntpy. The problem start when increase the ntpy a ntrpty in my hpux 10.20
Exist some patch that fix this problem

Hi,

After increasing the parameter , reboot server and try insf -e on command line .

After you have modified the kernel for npty and reboot the system, those device files are created during the boot process.

This would not be a patch issue because some shops want to limit the number of pseudo terminals in use at any one time. A patch would defeat this purpose.
