numeric logins on a trusted system

Is there a workaround or a patch available to allow numeric logins a a HP-UX 11.11 trusted system? Basically, I just need them set up for Samba as their Windows logins are just numeric.

Its imposssible. All usernames must begin with alphabetic chars and all in lower case.

no numeric ids.
Userid has to fit into /tcb/files/auth
hierachy.
