OBII, DLT Library & Multi LAN's
I have a DLT library sitting in the server LAN that is used to back up all my servers. I would like to backup the servers sitting in the DMZ as well.
What secure options are available to me?
1. Could I add a second LAN card to the DLT library and patch it to the DMZ LAN? Would that be a security hole?
2. Get a fibre channel card for the DLT library and attach the DMZ servers directly?
3. Get a second LAN card for all my servers, plug them into a seperate switch (or VLAN) and create a backup LAN?
Any other ideas?
Thanks for your help.

Re: OBII, DLT Library & Multi LAN's
Secure??
We produce the same configuration by using port filtering on the firewall. Omniback will work only on port 5555 (after installation)
We consider it a minor risk to enable this port only to the device server.
It may also be possible to tunnel using ssh, but haven't actually tried this one.
