Obtaining the product number

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to obtain the product number of a SCSI interface board without opening the box?
EMC is asking me that reference for all the systems connected to our old disk array.

Hi Dan,
The product number should be visible on the rear of the card near the port, so a disassemble is not required.

But I was wondering if this was "remotely" possible, as there is quite a lot of systems/cards to inventory.
I tried with stm, but the product number isn't shown.

It is very unlikely that the HP product number is electronically embedded.

Do an ioscan it will give card type.
