OCD messages in syslog
Hi
I am seeing the following OCD entries in the syslog.
Jan 24 04:37:44 au881_1 ocd[741]: (218) ERROR: No binary negotiation to obtain f
rom network within time interval allowed
Jan 24 04:37:44 au881_1 ocd[741]: (225) ERROR: Unable to toggle binary mode on
Jan 24 04:37:44 au881_1 ocd[741]: (299) ERROR: Closing connection due to error w
ith data path
Jan 24 04:37:44 au881_1 ocd[741]: (297) ERROR: Removing pseudonym /dev/telnet/1p
3 and closing pty /dev/ptym/ptyr6
Jan 24 04:37:44 au881_1 ocd[741]: (296) ERROR: Recreating pseudonym /dev/telnet/
1p3 with new pty
The OCD is trying to connect to a port on a TN DTC.
The dp entry for this is.
164.39.110.60 01/03 /dev/telnet/1p3 /etc/ddfa/cradle # Scaner
The settings are
telnet_mode: enable
timing_mark: enable
telnet_timer: 120
binary_mode: disable
open_tries: 1500
open_timer: 30
close_timer: 5
status_request: disable
status_timer: 30
eightbit: disable
tcp_nodelay: enable
I was wondering if anyone had seen this issue before ?

Re: OCD messages in syslog
These messages normally show up when the OCD daemons are re-initialised on the system via the dpp dp -k command
As far as I'm aware, they're not an indication of any problems.
