ODE perfver question (I can't find a better place to post this)
Hi all,
I have a question about perfver I hope someone can answer. (I didn't notice a better forum section to post this.)
I want to run section 1 on 4 drives that are loaded in a K-class server.
The TESTCONF command shows all 4 drives. 3 of them have section 1 selected, the 4th says N/A
If I use the SELECT command with no options, it shows only the 3(selected)drives. I can't seem to get the 4th drive to select to test for section 1.
Does anyone know the perfver command structure to do this?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Kel

Hi Kel,
I know you've probably checked required/recommended patches for Online Diags - but just in case as there are specific patches for specific arrays - here's the URL:
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/otsearch/getfile?id=/hpux/onlinedocs/diag/st/str_9909.htm&searchterms=perfver&queryid=20020411-104939
HTH,
Jeff

Re: ODE perfver question (I can't find a better place to post this)
Hi,
In the end, I rebuilt the drive.
This system went through a recent upgrade.
The drive was a very old Quantum Empire series, placing a newer model Seagate seemed to do the trick. I think the old drive might not have been compatible with the upgrade.
Thanks,
Kel
