Omniback 2.55 Licensing Issue
Hi,
We are having K570 with hP-UX 11.0 on which OB-II 2.55 was working. We have recently replaced the System board of K570. After changing the system Board the OB-II is reporting "No licenses are available last valid license will be preserved until "sat May 5 " after that backup will no longer be possible"
We have tried applying the permanent password again but the message remains the same.
The Target ID and hostname which is required to generate the permanent passwd remains the same (Ie Before and after changing the System board)
Can some one tell what could have gone wrong ?
Thanks in advance

Re: Omniback 2.55 Licensing Issue
Hi there.
First try to get a temporary license for 30 days.
As fa as i know, they have to regenerate the permanent license string for you.
This would be a good chance to upgarde to
OB II vers. 3.5, wouldn't it ?
Do an export of your OmniBack database, os that after the upgrade you can do an import.
That saves you from reconfiguring the software.
