Omniback problem
Hi All,
We are using Omniback and suddenly got an error as:
==============================================
[Major] From: BSM@uasng037.gep.ge.com "OPMOF11i-DAILY" Time: 6/14/2004 7:29:28 PM

information for device "Drive4"
with loaded medium "03f40c25:40c9dfb2:252d:0001" [OPM-D3B]
to Data Protector Internal Database:
No space available on all detail catalog directories.
From this point on, all objects on this medium
will have logging switched to "No Log".
==============================================
The Omniback database is on /var/opt/omni which is a separate filesystem and it was almost full. Extended the file system.
Can any one explain the output of below:

Re: Omniback problem
Hello
I would suggest extending the filesystem the database resides
Found another link which may be of some interest

Re: Omniback problem
Do yourself a big favour, place the omniback database in it's own filesystem. Having it under /var is asking for trouble.
Your actual problem is that the detail log space has filled up. The link provided by Steven has the answer.
