Hi,

I have just done a restore and recieved a couple of errrors like

..
Size of restored file does not match the size of file at backup time !

Has anybody seen this before and do I need to worry ?

Hi there.
Did you do the restore interactively ?
If yes, did you check the version of the file ?
If the size is different, it may not be the version of the file, that you want.

Also under the options of the restore did you use overwrite? merge?

If you used merge then that could cause a different size.

It means that you are restoring a file from your backup and that the file that currently exists on disk is of a different size - which means the version on disk has been modified since the backup. It's up to you to decide how you want to react to it. Do you want to blow the version away on disk or keep it?
