One more bug (May be) in new ITRC

In the forum members profile under this heading

" replies the member posted that were rated between 8-10 "

the column will never get updated. I had two recent responses for which I have been awarded 10 pt. This never shows up in the column.

FYI guys.
Thanks,
Madhu

Hi,

I don't think it's a bug. It's a list of your 8-10 point replies in chronological order so once you have more than 5, the first page will never change.

Madhu:

Yes, you are correct. The "top solutions" by user are not being updated. I pointed this out to the ITRC developers in a conversation I had just last week. You will also notice that the "top read solutions" on the HP-UX family page don't change either. The current behavior of both items is not as intended.

Remember that the best thing to do in cases where you find anomolies is to click "Contact HP" -> "Send us Feedback..." on the left of the page. This information DOES get attention.

Warm regards!

James is so correct in referring you to "click Contact HP" -> "Send us Feedback..." on the left of the page. This information DOES get attention."

This information goes straight to the Forum's Community Administrator who works directly with the labs to correct these issues.

If you post messages here without using "Contact HP" then we read the messages but the Admin may not. Send a message directly to the Admin and you will get quicker results.

Cheryl Griffin :

Ultimately goal is to use Contact HP. The idea of me posting here is to understand it as a feature or a bug. Now that I have been given the knowledge that it is a bug, i did use the feedback form.

Hi!

One of the suggestions I've submitted to the ITRC is to actually post known, internal problems, for instance on the Forum home page. While this would obviously not work for all cases, in my opinion this is a "no shame" way to simply reduce frustration and duplication of trouble reports.

Hi Madhu,

If, on the "top rated answers" column, you click on "more", you'll gett the full list of your answers rated between 8 and 10.
You'll surely find your recent 10 points answers in there.

I guess that, for people like James, this will turn to a MULTI page listing ;-)

Best regards,

Dan
