Online Diagnostics March 2001 Release
I have a K580 running 10.20 and I am trying to install the Online Diagnostics from the CD-ROM March 2001 release.
When I install OnlineDiag from the CD-ROM I was getting that OnlineDiag, r=B.10.20.21.08 could not be installed because none of its filesets could could be installed which is PHKL_17500, PHKL_17590, and PHKL_21568. It says these are already installed. I checked swlist on these Patches and they are installed.
I tried to do a swremove of OnlineDiag because it rebooted my K580 but did not install the OnlineDiag bundle.
Then I tried to install OnlineDiag again and I got the checkinstall script for PHKL_17500 gave an exclude return (exit code "3"). The script location was "/var/tmp/AAAa06214/catalog/PHKL_17500/pfiles/checkinstall". This software will be excluded form further processing. The patch PHKL_17590 is already installed on the system. Skipping the installation of PHKL_17590.
I also got the checkinstall script for PHKL_21568 failed (exit code "1"). The script location was "/var/tmp/AAAa06214/catalog/PHKL_21568/pfiles/checkinstall. This script had errors and the execution of this product cannot proceed until the problem is fixed.
It partially installed OnlineDiag on my K580.
I ran swverify on OnlineDiag and I am getting
WARNING: The software specification "OnlineDiag" refers to a bundle ( or to a product, subproduct or fileset within a bundle). Only some of the software specified could be selected. The messages below show those items which could not be selected and those items which were selected but generated a warning:
Could not apply the software selection "Sup-Tool_mgr-800"
Could not apply the software selection "LIF-LOAD"
Could not apply the software selection "Contrib-Tools"
Could not apply the software selection "Predictive"
Could not apply the software selection "EMS-Config"
I need to know what I need to do to get the OnlineDiag installed on my K580 server. I was able to install this same CD on my K370 and my K420. Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks and have a nice day.

Re: Online Diagnostics March 2001 Release
Hi Troy:
Change the "reinstall" options to true and run 'swinstall' again.
Use -x reinstall=true -x reinstall_files=true
(in the GUI, choose -> and mark both 'reinstall' options.
