How to migrate online a virtual machine with a Tape drive as a backing store

is it possible with tape (V 4.2.5) ??
In Version 4.2 it isn't working

Shalom,

To use the tape drive, the drive must be a shared device on the HPVM host system.

The system image can even come from another system, so long as the tape format is correct.

If the host has no tape drive, a new image should be made with make_net_recovery and again Ignite is used to replicate the system.

hpvmclone command can clone the system configuration, after that you can use dd to replicate the guest system itself, again no need for a tape drive.
