OnlineJFS 3.3

I am gonna install OnlineJFS 3.3 software on a HP9000 server.

It has JFS3.1 and doesn't have previous OnlineJFS version.

Please let me know how to install it.

swinstall

or follow the instructions with the install media

Pretty much straight forward . After obtainign the liocence Key you need to esentially run the mount of the cd and then run swintsall as :


Remount the HP-UX Applications Software CD:
mount -F cdfs cdrom-device /cdrom
Step 3. Install the HP OnLineJFS product with the following command:
swinstall -x ask=true -s /cdrom OnlineJFS

Hello,
Me again.

What I wonder is that I have to upgrade the JFS 3.1 to 3.3 to install OnlineJFS 3.3.

And Actually I have HP9000 JFS/OnlineJFS 3.3 for HP-UX 11.00 CD that is not application CD. I received it from HP when I had ordered the software.

what is this for?
