Hello,

Check out this link where they have listed as part of the Mission Critical OE or as a seperate product:

Re: OnlineJFS

Yates,

You can probably find updated info on software.hp.com, but the 2002 price list shows 2995 for tier 1 (A, D, E, F, G, little K's, L, and R), 6995 for tier 2 (H, I, big K's and N), and 15,995 for tier 3 (T and V).

Re: OnlineJFS

Ok, for whatever reason my link did not work, so here is what it said.

HP-UX 11i Mission-Critical OE Per-Processor License, purchase separately

$10236.0

HP-UX Enterprise Operating Environment, purchase separately from hardware

$6105.0

OnLineJFS

$1965.0

Sorry about that!

Try this link:

If you happen to have HP-UX 11i Enterprise OE then Online JFS comes as part of the OE. See this link for more info.:

Re: OnlineJFS

Yates,

Looks like they've changed the price structure:

https://payment.ecommerce.hp.com/portal/swdepot/productDetails.do?productNumber=B3929CA&reqType=BUY

$1965.00

Re: OnlineJFS

If you go through an HP VAR, you can often obtain a fairly good discount. Logical is a good one to start with; we (Los Angeles County) generally get about 20% on HP-UX software. Keep in mind that HP-UX software is priced based on the system tier (Tier 1, 2 or 3). A 1-2 cpu rp24xx (formerly A-class) system is Tier 1, while a rp74xx (formerly N-Class) is Tier 2. You will also want to take into account the annual maintenance, provided you want after-sales support from HP, also priced according to server tier.
