ontape -c on informix database

Hi,
Could someone give me some information on this program. We use it to backup the database transactions dinamically in tape. In this case i want to use a tape on a remote server. Das this uttility works on remote??

You'd just need to change the LTAPEDEV parameter in the onconfig to be hostname:/dev/name
