I have installed openssh 3.4p1. After starting the sshd, I tried to connect to the server from client. However, when I finished entering password, the connection was closed.
This is the error from syslog:
sshd[12591]: fatal: PAM session setup failed[33]: General Commercial Security error
sshd[12589]: Could not reverse map address IP

Did you compile with PAM support enabled? If you're not utilizing PAM, you might want to try recompiling without the --with-pam configure option. I've had problems with OpenSSH and PAM even on non-tsconverted systems. -Tim
