OpenSSH on 10.20

The porting archive site has discontinued the 10.20 version of OpenSSH. Does anyone know where a copy may be obtained.

Re: OpenSSH on 10.20

what about going with the open source version... pretty sure that will compile and run just fine with 10.20:

Re: OpenSSH on 10.20

I am aware of the open-source source version. What I am looking for is the ported depot that was available at the archive site.

Re: OpenSSH on 10.20

Weve got SD depot versions of openssh for 10.20 on all our 10.20 boxes - but youre right, its been removed from where we downloaded it. If you send me an email I will email you a copy back zipped up.

Re: OpenSSH on 10.20

Scott, I tried that site. Got the file! It's several versions back, but so is 10.20. I'm not staying on 10.20 much longer, so if it works, it will do for now. If not I'll take you up on your offer Stefan.

Re: OpenSSH on 10.20

That might be better. My email address is phil.hartl@harrisbank.com. There is a hard limit on attachments of 5M. If it's larger than that, it won't go.
Thanks.

Re: OpenSSH on 10.20

Hi Philip,

I can send you a build script that compiles OpenSSH at 10.20 using the latest sources (3.4p1) - takes about 1/2 an hour to build and produces an installation depot you can then use to distribute to anywhere you wish.

For this you must have a copy of the ANSI-C compiler installed on a 10.20 system.

Older versions of OpenSSH may not be the best option due to the security issues which were reported a few months back.

Let me know if you want the script,

Ollie.

Re: OpenSSH on 10.20

Philip or Ollie - do either of you have a copy of the OpenSSH at 10.20 script discribed on this posting from about a year ago? We are obviously waaaaaaaaaay behind the times, but I'm not making purchasing decisions so I have to cut, paste, patch and load as necessary.

Thanks

Dave
